One of the things that fascinates me the most about the possibility of AI-generated papers is not just that AI can do research, but that it is inviting us to rethink research institutions. That makes JAIGP not a journal, but a space to explore the rules defining how academic journals should operate through crowdsourced participation.

Knowledge does not grow like infrastructure. It is a form of capital that must keep on moving to compound. When governments ignore that logic, they end up building technology parks with a “if you build it, they will come” mentality that seldom works.

Sustaining an economy’s level of expertise is not an effortless endeavour. It demands continuous investment. In this analogy, knowledge is no longer a shark, but a muscle that atrophies as soon as you stop lifting weights.

Why I am running towards the tsunami with a surfboard? Because whether I am sleeping on the beach or running towards the ocean, the tsunami is coming. The question is not whether AI will change science, but whether we will learn to ride the wave.

AI is a tool that is basically available to everyone. But access to a brush does not make everyone a Michelangelo.
